A few days ago for the first time in over 20 years we had a group of transient orca known as the T-49B’s traveling into Westsound on Orcas Island, all the way up to the marina and back out. What a treat so close to our home to be able to see these whales from a friend’s house. Here’s a couple of photos I took including one of the newest member of the pod traveling next to it’s mom. Very cool.
