In addition to Whale Watch & Wildlife Tours we offer a variety of fun, education and unique tours. Some are private charter only while others have public availability. If you don't see a tour you are interested in such as Birding Tours or Light House tours, please give us a call. We can usually accommodate most Custom Cruises.

The cold, rich waters surrounding Orcas Island & the San Juan Islands provide one of the best places in the world to watch Orca Whales swimming freely. Locally, two seemingly similar although genetically distinct eco types call these waters home year round. Whales, including Orca, Humpback, Minke & Grey are sighted around 95% of the time on our whale watching tours during peak season (mid June-mid September) thanks to our centralized departure location! When you join Deer Harbor Charters for a tour, we take our whales seriously. If you don't see a whale during your peak season trip than we give you a FREE return ticket to come again.
